I learned 5 new things today.

The man who gave the public talk this morning is someone who has been doing so for 30+ years. Stan. Not only was the information eye-opening, fresh and plan ole great, but it's delivery was warm, heartfelt and upbuilding.

Here's a couple of points that I hope to never forget:

The formations of land masses and water masses are irregular on the surface of the globe, and YET the earth, twirling away at over 1000 mph does not spin off course, out of orbit and toward oblivion. Job says "And who barracaded the sea with doors...And went on to say "This far you may come, and no farther, And here your proud waves are limited."

The relatively new field of cardio-neurology is researching, among other things, why we sometimes meet someone and we feel after just a few minutes that we've known them for our entire lives. I think he said there's a possiblity that not only our brain, but our hearts and kidney also are capable of recognition of brain wave activities we detect in others...

The ancient city of Edom was once a thriving, hugely populated city with nearby trade routes. Jeremiah says " And Edom must become an object of astonishment. Everyone passing along by her will stare in astonishment and whistle on account of her plagues. Just as in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah .." According to prophecy, it's completely desolate today.

Upwards of 500 people saw the resurrected Jesus. That statement was penned and became part of the inspired scriptures by the apostle DURING the lifetime of the same witnesses to the event.

So, after learning 4 new things this morning, I came home and thought more about moving to the midwest. Then Pat at work told me her dead husband was from Kentucky and I would love it there.

Hm.
